From July 13–19, UConn Extension invites you to explore the incredible world of insects through hands-on events across Connecticut. Whether you’re curious about edible bugs, want to explore stream ecosystems, or just love creepy crawlies, there’s something for everyone.

  • July 15: Insect Wonders at the Farm – Storrs, CT & Bugs at the Brookfield Library – Brookfield, CT
  • July 16: What Bugs Live in the Stream?! – Wallingford, CT
  • July 17: Bug Walks in Haddam & Third Thursday Street Festival – Willimantic, CT
  • July 18: CT Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Lab Open House – Storrs, CT
  • July 20: Bug Out at the Monroe Farmers Market – Monroe, CT
