We invite you to join us in touring this sheep and goat operation. Get a look at the grazing management, stockpiling and bale grazing on the home farm. There is also an optional tour of their sheep grazing a solar array.

Tuesday, June 17 – Mayapple Hill Farm

In conjunction with Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy, we welcome you to tour this family farm. Get a look at their grazing management for sheep, see how they’re controlling invasives and managing wet areas.

Tuesday, July 8 – Watson Farm

Join us as we tour this beef cattle and sheep farm to get a first-hand look at the grazing management practices in place. Bale grazing and the use of annuals will also be part of the discussion.
